Item Details
A machine made Belgian wool area rug. This rug begins with a large floral medallion infilled with palmettes and scrolling vines. The ramaining field offers a dense floral pattern joined by spandrels in ivory, hues of blue, moss and deep crimson. Framing the rug are two pair of carnation meander borders and a wide main border boasting shah abassi pendants. Selvedges are over-stitched, the rug finishing with attached fringe at either end. It is labeld with a tag to the verso indicating country of origin.
