Antique Double Spouted Cut Glass Wine Rinsers ca. 1800-30
Item Details
A selection of five antique cut glass wine rinsers. The handmade pieces feature a spout to either side, a raised diamond pattern in between horizontal cuts, faceted sides to the base, and a star cut to the underside. The Georgian period pieces were used to rinse wine glasses between courses during a full-course dinner since wine pairings changed based on the dish. They were produced between 1800-30 and have no visible maker’s marks which is typical of wares of the time period.
