Vintage Inlaid Barton's Bonbonniere Candy Box with Wooden Boxes

A three piece selection of vintage wooden boxes. Featured is a candy box from Barton’s Bonbonniere, a noted New York confectioner during the mid 20th century. The piece is inlaid with multicolor wood bands throughout and is marked with a pair of labels to the interior. It is accompanied by a box with curvilinear face and a floral motif to the lid. This piece is finished with a cherry tone stain and dovetail joints. Also included is a divided box with a gold tone eagle motif to the lid. These pieces bear no discernible maker’s marks.

- to fair; various minor marks and scuffs to finish; inscription to base of floral themed box; adhesive residue to base and small crack to back of Barton’s box.
