Tall Serpentine Mahogany Dresser by Drexel-Heritage

Item Details

A tall serpentine dresser with glass top by the Morganton Division of Drexel-Heritage. The case features a mahogany veneered finish, a conforming tempered glass top above six stacked drawers with dual embossed hanging pulls to each front, resting on carved bracket feet. A maker’s mark is found to the interior of one drawer. Drexel individually acquired Morganton and Heritage Furniture Companies in 1957. Heritage functioned as a subsidiary of Drexel Enterprises, Inc. and Morganton became a division of Heritage. This selection coordinates with items in 18BOS064-048, 18BOS064-075 and 18BOS064-076.
