Hand-Painted Limoges Porcelain Trinket Boxes
Item Details
A three piece selection of hand-painted porcelain trinket boxes by Limoges. Included is an oval box in the likeness of a variegated purple plum, accented with a diminutive insect and green leaves. It is finished with a brass tone stem and hardware, marked to the interior: ‘Limoges France, Peint Main, P.V.’ It is accompanied by boxes in the likeness of a jam jar and fruit basket, each marked to the base. Two additional boxes, decorated with floral and figural motifs, are also included. They are variously marked to the inner lid and base.
