This oldie but goodie! Early Hutch Leather & Composition Football Helmet from the 1930s/40s. Helmet looks as though it was truly treasured by its original owner. Helmet shows use. Inside suspension straps attached. No chin strap. Colors are light brown & maroon. Appears to be a youth’s Helmet. Inside wool-like material has deteriorated some. There is a vintage decal of a young boy attached on the outside. Missing some of the leather on the outside. ‘WING BACK style from the late 1930s, made famous by the Michigan Wolverines Football Teams. Measures 8’ wide by 8’ tall. Please see photos. Would make a cool wall hanger in your favorite room.
