An antique ormolu watch casket in the style of Napoleon III. This square vessel features a beveled glass lid, seated at an angle to highlight the velvet lined interior. The body is relief molded with a detailed scene depicting a boar and fox hunt. The piece rests on four ball feet and bears no discernible maker’s marks. It is likely dated to the mid 19th to early 20th century.
