A selection of John Richards hand-painted wood panels. The selection includes two matching panels that feature an aged goldtone finish with a carved shell and scrollwork design in relief on the crest. Other features of the panels include a carved wood floral and ribbon design on the panels with hand-painted vines, dragonflies and flowers throughout. The panels have and carved scrollwork and acanthus leaves on the base and the artwork is set on a rectangular shaped panel surrounded by a bevel-edged wood frame. The panels are marked John Richards’ on the verso.
Condition
- some cracks and loss of paint to surface of panels.
