Several wooden ships are moored on the beach, as people unload their cargo into horse-drawn carts and several seaside warehouses are visible in the distance. The work is signed in red pigment to the lower right. It is housed in an elaborate gold-tone wood frame with cast embellishments and a black velvet liner. It is ready to hang with a wire.
