Vintage Bohemian Hand-Painted Cased Cut to Cranberry Glass Epergne

Item Details

A vintage cased cut to cranberry glass epergne. The Bohemian piece features hand-painted flowers to the cased white panels alternating between cut patterns of checked diamonds ending in gilt borders. Gilt scroll designs adorn the translucent cranberry glass with petal style edges and a graduated base with gilt and white leaves. The tulip form top can be removed so the lower bowl can be used. There is no visible maker’s mark.

Condition

- some wear to paint; scratches to gilding.
