A 1978 Xavier Roberts The Little People doll. This soft sculpture doll is named Donna Eleanor,and features a needle molded head with hand-painted blue eyes, rosy cheeks, dimpled arms and legs, and rust colored yarn pigtails. She is clad in a sky blue dress dress with a Peter Pan collar, puffed sleeves, and matching bloomers, and is topped with a pair of blue hair bows. This limited edition doll includes it original adoption papers, and is hand crafted and signed by creator Xavier Roberts to the backside. Little People dolls were a pre-cursor to the iconic Cabbage Patch Kids dolls produced by Coleco, then Mattel, among others.
