From Treasure Salvors Inc. comes an original coin recovered from the Nuestra Senora De Atocha. This coin is accompanied with a certificate of authenticity from Treasure Salvors Inc. claiming that this coin is from 1622. According to the certificate ‘All attempts to locate the shipwreck failed until the location of the primary cultural deposit was made by Treasure Salvors, Inc., on July 20th 1985.’ This is a coin of Phillip III (1598-1561). The certificate bears facsimile signatures of Mel Fisher, and those involved with the initial find.

Wear consistent with age, coin preserved in plastic baggie.
