Antique 18th Century Blue and White "Peacock" Dutch Delft Plate

An antique blue and white Dutch Delft plate with yellow ochre border. This eighteenth century white tin-glazed earthenware plate features hand-painted cobalt blue decoration with an urn and peacock feather design surrounded by wide border with stylized design. The plate is hand signed with maker’s mark in blue underglaze to underside. The main period of tin-glaze pottery in the Netherlands dates from circa 1640 to the mid-1700s.
