An oil painting on canvas of a park by listed French artist Suzanne Demarest (1900-1985). This colorful piece depicts a road lined with manicured plants and scattered with well-dressed figures, a couple walking toward the viewer at the right side of the composition. The painting is signed somewhat illegibly to its lower left and is mounted in a molded gold tone frame with a white liner and a hanging wire to its verso.
