A signed lithograph on paper titled Catherine’s Farm by well-listed American artist Mel Hunter (Illinois/Vermont; 1927 – 2004). This print features an interior space with stone walls and depicts a tin filled with wildflowers, a framed picture, a hand bell, and sewing tools arranged on a windowsill. The view from the window looks to the outdoors where a barn is situated among a rural landscape with rolling hills. The print is signed and dated 1979 by hand in graphite to the lower right corner. It is matted in beige and presented behind glass in a wooden frame with a paper backing and metal hanging wire to the verso. Adhered to the verso is a certificate of authenticity from the Franklin Gallery.

Condition

- minor wear throughout the frame; minor toning throughout the matting; some accretions; adhesive residue to the verso.
