A handmade custom soprano saxophone by LeBlanc Vito of Paris, custom made for Stanley DeRusha, former soprano saxophonist for the Leblanc Fine Arts Quartet and Alto Saxophone soloist with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. This saxophone features a lacquered brass finish and mother-of-pearl key buttons, and Stanley DeRusha’s name engraved to the bell. The serial number for the saxophone is No. 2C478. This instrument has only had a single owner. The LeBlanc Quartet performed at the First World Saxophone Congress, the Midwest International Band, the Orchestra Director’s Clinic, and on tour throughout the United States. This instrument can be heard on recordings including the Music Minus One series.
