A ‘cigar store Indian’ carved wood sculpture. This advertisement piece presents a standing Native American style figure wearing a feathered headdress and holding a bundle of cigars in one hand. It is finished in red, green and blue earth tones and stands on a round base. There are no apparent maker’s marks.

Condition

- discoloration to painted finish; nicks, chips and scratches throughout sculpture; wood is split in several places, with some loss; wood has gesso over some areas.
