Vintage Piper Grandfather Clock

A vintage Piper grandfather clock. The clock is circa 1970 with a sleek oak case that features a curved bonnet with reeded side columns and an arched glass front door on the top. The door displays a silvertone metal dial with black Roman numerals and black serpentine hands on a repousse silvertone center. The clock face has scrolled spandrels with faces in relief and a moon phase dial with a colorful design. Other features of the clock include a lower glass front door that displays a polished brass pendulum with weights on chains, a Franze Hermle German movement and the clock stands on a plinth style base. The clock is labeled ‘Piper’ on the face.
