Item Details
An autograph note signed by Martin Luther King Jr (1929–1968). This note is presented beneath glass, navy blue matting, and encompassed by a black and gold tone frame with a sawtooth hanger affixed to the verso. This handwritten note reads ‘To Jimmie Jones, With Best Wishes’ and is signed by civil rights activist Martin Luther King, Jr. The verso also includes a newspaper clipping featuring King speaking at the Holt Street Baptist Church during the bus boycotts of 1955-1956. The piece is accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication.
