Item Details
An Edelweiss Happy Wanderer wooden cuckoo clock. The clock features a traditional style with a wood case that has a dark brown finish and a carved bird finial with carved leaves in relief on the sides accented with bunches of grapes and a carved wood dog on the base. The clock features two doors on the crest that display a cuckoo bird and a boy with a bowl on the hour and half hour with gongs and strikes. Other features of the clock include a raised black face with white Roman numerals and hands, a leaf pendulum and pine cone weights on chains and an 8-day Thorens movement with a hook for hanging on the verso. The clock body is made in Germany and the movement is from Switzerland.
