An oil painting on canvas of a church. This Impressionist style painting depicts a rustic church featuring a pointed roof, watchtower and cross rendered from a street view. To the foreground are stationed carriages and figural forms. To the lower right corner is an illegibly painted artist signature. This painting is presented in a stained wooden frame gouged with motifs with hanging wire to the verso.

- to fair; toning throughout painting; indentation on ground at top right; wear to inner and outer edges of frame; toning and foxing on verso of frame; craquelure present on painting at white accents on bottom of church and also on the church spire; chips at inner right corner of frame.
