A vintage Chippendale style dining table with eight side chairs. This set includes a rectangular top table with burled walnut veneer and single leaf insert featuring a light wood border. The table features reeded apron sides and rises on double pedestal posts. The pedestal posts feature ornately carved acanthus leaf embellishments. The table terminates on carved legs with claw and ball feet. Also includes eight side chairs with mahogany frame featuring curved and carved crest rails over a decorative pierced splat. The chairs feature an upholstered trapezoid seat rising on carved cabriole legs with acanthus leaf carved knees. The chairs terminate on claw and ball feet. There are no visible maker’s marks.
