International Silver Co. Weighted Sterling Candlesticks
Item Details
A pair of weighted sterling candlesticks by Meriden Brittania Co., a subsidiary of International Silver Co. (Meriden mark used until the 1930s). These candlesticks features round capitals with flared lips, on tapered columns and round footed bases. The undersides are stamped, ‘IS. Co.’ alongside the Meriden Brittania Co. maker’s mark, ‘Sterling’ and ‘455’. The removable sconces are stamped on the undersides, ‘Sterling’.
Condition
- some light surface wear including scuffs and dings.
