A Dancing Clown musical motion jewelry box. The box is a vintage Japanese music and jewelry box that plays music and the clown dances when the drawer is pulled open. The box is made of composite paper and has a colorful finish with red, blue and gold stripes and decorative geometric designs on the side panels. The front of the box displays a colorful juggling clown and a lower drawer with a decorative design. The box has a winding key on the verso and is labeled ‘Dancing Clown’ on the front of the box and is circa 1970.
