Set of Vintage J.C. Deagan Musical Bells

A set of bells. The J.C. Deagan Company was the premier makers of malleted percussion instruments at the turn of the 20th Century until 1978. This set of portable flat orchestral bells feature metal bells with a stainless steel finish, the note value stamped on the bells and spans two octaves. This set comes with three wooden mallets in its own hardwood carrying case with oak veneer and metal hardware. There is a metal tag below the latch that reads, ‘JC Deagan PAT Musical Bells Chicago U.S.A.’

Condition

- some bells loose and have been repaired, break in the veneer, hardware oxidized.
