An oil painting on masonite titled Motherhood attributed to Dorothy Eugenie Brett (1883 – 1976). This painting depicts a pair of mother draped in colorful clothing holding tightly to their babies. The painting is presented in a gold tone and blue wood frame with an off-white liner and gold tone fillet. A wire for hanging purposes and a gallery decal with the artist name and title are present to the verso. Brett is best known for her fantasy paintings of Native American figures.

- discoloration and fraying to linen liner; some nicks and wear to frame; dent to lower center of frame.
