A sterling silver flatware set by Heirloom Sterling, a trademark of Oneida. This is in the Grosvenor N. Allen and Mary P Fleming designed Damask Rose pattern, first introduced in 1946, which features a slightly flared handle with rose and leaf accents. The set includes three serving spoons, fifteen teaspoons, twelve dinner forks, a jelly server, a ladle, a sugar spoon, a meat fork, sugar tongs, a master butter knife, two youth forks, eight cocktail forks, twelve iced tea spoons, and twelve salad forks, all marked ‘Heirloom Sterling’ to the backs. They are presented with twelve dinner knives and a carving fork and knife set that have stainless elements and sterling hollow handles. The set comes in a wooden flatware chest with dark felt-like interior lining. The total approximate weight, excluding knives and servers with stainless steel elements, is 81.925 ozt.
