Antique Italian Baroque Gilt Wall Brackets
Item Details
A very fine pair of antique Italian Baroque style gilt wall brackets, early 19th century. The matching sconces each feature a shelf with a shaped edge atop an ornate gilded carved wood support with gesso. The support features openwork decoration with a horned Bacchic bust to the center surrounded by scrolling floral and foliate decoration. Each has hooks to the reverse.
