An oil painting of a river scene by well-listed artist Arthur Vidal Diehl (1870-1929). The painterly work features a pastel-hued palette and depicts a bridge spanning a lightly-rippling river, a boat emitting a column of smoke toward the right edge of the composition. The work is signed ‘Arthur V. Diehl’ to its lower left and is mounted in a black and gold tone frame with a wire for hanging to its verso. Please note 18ATL020-174 for another painting by Diehl.
