Stetson 1865 Pewter and Etched Glass Electric Candle Lustres

Item Details

A pair of Stetson 1865 pewter and etched glass electric candle lustres. The knopped candlestick stems are each fitted with a central light surrounded by five curved arms which branch out from the center. The arms each support a single socket with a small sconce, each holding one battery-powered candle. For each light there is an etched glass hurricane shade rimmed in pewter. The bobeches and arms have been embellished with faceted glass prisms and faceted beads. The rest on round, decorative bases and are marked to the underside; made in India.

Condition

- untested; slight tarnish.
- one glass shade and three candles are missing.
