An antique Sevres style Chateau des Tuileries porcelain urn. Featured is an urn with a hand painted polychrome figurative vignette to one side featuring a depiction of a cherub and a woman holding a lyre, on a cobalt ground. The urn has a lid to top with a gilt pineapple finial and mounted ormolu accents such as scrolling loop handles to opposite sides, and floral swags to the elongated ovoid body. The vase has a round foot and rests on a footed square gilt pedestal. It is marked with an interlacing gold LS mark with an S at the center and ‘Chateau Des Tuileries’ to the inside of the lid.
