Circa 1870s Mitchell & Rammelsberg Antique Carved Walnut Full Bed Frame

Item Details

A circa 1870 antique full-size bed frame, in walnut. It includes a headboard in four pieces (a centerpiece, two corner posts, and a lower piece), a footboard in one piece, two side rails, and eight slats. The headboard and footboard feature raised relief carved border trim and circular medallions, and the footboard features carved scrolling foliate motifs. The piece also features burled grain accents and wood casters to the base. By Mitchell & Rammelsberg, marked to the metal joints of the side posts.
