Vintage Pettibone Brothers Mason's Officer Sword

A sword. This vintage ceremonial sword made by the Pettibone Brothers Manufacturing Company features a copper scabbard decorated with raised Medieval and religious iconography, a steel blade sword acid etched with images of the Knights Templar and more religious imagery and a bone grip with knight’s helmet pommel and monogrammed with Scrimshaw style lettering on the front and crucifix to the verso. The sword belonged to Felix Caldwell, whose name is etched on both the scabbard and sword and the reverse of the sword reads, ‘The Pettibone Bros. Mfg. Co. Cincinnati, O,’
