A watercolor landscape painting on paper by listed American artist Austin Fraser (Wisconsin; 1911 – 2006). This piece depicts a creek running through a forest in the winter, ground covered in a thick, smooth layer of snow. It is signed to the lower right corner and the artist’s business card is affixed to the verso. It is presented behind a mat and glass in a thin black-painted wood frame with a white sight edge and wire to the verso for hanging.

Condition

- edge wear, nicks and gouges to the wood frame; mat shows discoloration around the inside edge of cut-out with stain in upper left; water damage to verso.
