A vintage Emerson Electric portable fan. The electric fan features four curving blades, a rounded wire cage, a swiveling head, and a black cast iron stand resting on a circular wood base. It is a type ‘77638-AL’ and was produced in the USA in the 1930s. The label reads ‘Emerson Electric/St. Louis, Mo.’
