Lionel Trains and Parts Including Prewar in Handmade Storage Box

A collection of Lionel train cars and parts, including prewar train cars. This collection features a black #2816 hopper car, a red #2817 caboose and a #3811 lumber car, all produced circa 1940; and also includes a late-1940s era black 6-8-6 locomotive #671, and a 1950s-era black Lionel Scout tender. The cars, along with some wiring and accessories, are presented in a handmade box open at one end and divided into six compartments; the top of the box bears faded lettering from the original box repurposed to build this one.
Condition
- paint loss; rust; mold; nicks and scratches; marks and stains to box; front of locomotive detached but included; coupler in pieces; includes loose wire and other components; not verified for completeness of parts or accessories; all items untested.
