Lunt "Modern Victorian" Sterling Silver Flatware Set

A sterling silver flatware set by Lunt Silversmiths. This is in the Frederick W. Koonz designed Modern Victorian pattern, first introduced in 1941, which features a shaped handle with scrolled and floral edges. The seventy-six piece set includes fourteen five o’clock spoons, six teaspoons, five soup spoons, eleven salad forks, ten dinner forks, three serving spoons, a pierced serving spoon, two ladles, two serving forks, a sugar spoon, a pickle fork, three butter spreaders, and a baby fork, all marked ‘Lunt Sterling’ to the backs of their handles. They are presented with eleven dinner knives, two steak knives, a carving knife and fork, and a pie server that have stainless blades and sterling hollow handles. The total approximate weight, excluding pieces with stainless blades, is 72.740 ozt.
