A Japanese style kodachi sword with a scabbard. This short sword features a single-edged, slightly curved blade with an applied Damascus pattern and a four-character mark to the ricasso. The etched tsuba guard leads to a smooth grip with horse motif and geometric pattern decor, a bronze-tone mekugi peg, and an etched kashira pommel. Also included is a scabbard with a similar pattern and a four-character mark, and with an etched suspension ring, throat, and end cap.
