Vintage Sutcliffe Nautilus Submarine Wind-Up Toy and Other Disney Collectibles
Item Details
A vintage early 1950s Nautilus submarine wind-up toy by Sutcliffe based on the submarine in Disney’s ‘20,000 Leagues Under the Sea’. It is stored in its original box and features a turquoise finish. The collection also includes a Disney Mickey Riding Pluto wind-up toy by Schylling Toys in its original box and packaging. The toys are presented with a 1975 hardcover edition of The Art of Walt Disney by Christopher Finch.
Condition
- wear, discoloration and some tears on the Nautilus box; some writing to the top of the box; Nautilus toy in good condition with minor marks, it was untested; Mickey Riding Pluto wind-up toy is stored in its original box with some wear to the box; some creasing and tears in the dust jacket of the book.
