An oil painting on canvas by listed American artist Bernard Bosman (1911-1981). This coastal landscape depicts an ocean bay with a steep mountainous shore line. A white ranch style home resides along the coast near the left of the composition. The work is signed in the lower right by Bosman. It is presented in a gold tone wood and gesso frame with molded arabesque motif and a gold tone velvet liner. There is a hanging wire mounted to the verso.

- abrasions throughout painting with paint loss particularly to sky; nicks and wear to frame; backing paper somewhat loose to verso.
