1982 Craig Zweifel Hand Blown Iridescent Glass Vase

A vintage hand blown glass vase by Craig Zweifel (1944-). This iridescent vessel is composed of a wide, flat lip and slender body whose pale gold finish is accented with multicolor highlights. The piece is decorated with a trailed botanical motif. The piece is bears an incised signature to the base: ‘Zweifel 2/82.’ Zweifel is known for his signature process of fusing silver to molten glass to create distinctive patterns, crystallizing each piece with a unique iridescent finish.
