"Cool Papa" Bell Autograph with Photo - JSA COA

A James ‘Cool Papa’ Bell autographed cut with photo. This photo image shows Bell with the Homestead Grays, sliding into third base during a game at Griffith Stadium. Bell’s signature is presented on the mat’s lower border and reads ‘James ’Cool Papa’ Bell’. The autograph has been authenticated by JSA and includes a certification number of S65831. ‘Cool Papa’ was one of the greatest players in Negro League history and one of the fastest players to ever play baseball. Bell was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972.
