Antique F. Lange Chemnitzer Concertina with Case
Item Details
An antique Chemnitzer concertina by Friedrich Lange of Chemnitz, Germany. This concertina features pierced mahogany endpieces with a lyre and oak leaf motif and mother-of-pearl buttons; it is marked ‘F. Lange, Chemnitza, vorm C. F. Uhlig’ within the decorative plate to one end and dates to the late 19th or early 20th century. Its original wooden case, bound in leather and lined in turquoise velvet, is also included.
