Item Details
An oil painting on canvas board by listed American artist Eugene LaForet (born 1931). This landscape scene depicts a dirt road winding around a corner along a tree lined blue lake. A small cottage is visible on a distant peninsula. The work is signed in the lower left ‘E. LaForet’. It is presented in a wood frame with a hanging wire mounted to the verso, along with a label from LaForet’s New York City gallery.

- image area is dirty; dark wood frame showing nicks and scratches around the frame.
