A signed oil painting on canvas of a village square by Rivira. This painting depicts a village square filled with figures walking by and lined with tall buildings accented with chimneys and is signed by hand to the lower right in black paint. The painting is presented in a stained wood frame with an off-white liner and a stained wood fillet. A wire is present to the verso for hanging purposes.
Condition
- dirt and stains pervasive throughout the image area; craquelure in the sky area and down below in the street; stretcher marks; nicks and scratches to the frame.
