A pair of limited edition etchings titled Cloak Room and For The Record by William Gropper. These etchings are by American cartoonist, printmaker, and painter William Gropper (1897 – 1977). These works depict cartoonishly rendered men in suits with linear construction in exaggerated poses and dynamic compositions. Both prints are signed to the lower right corner margin and editioned ‘84/150’ to the lower left. They are presented in wooden frames, under glass, with a wire hanger to the verso along with an affixed artists biography.

Condition

- moisture damage to verso of both frames
- chipping and moderate scuffs to surface of frames
- minor but large stain to bottom left corner of both prints
