Item Details
An oil painting of a landscape on board by artist C. Holland. This work depicts a snow-capped mountain as seen past hazy ponds flanked by groves of trees, all rendered with a warm earth tone palette. The painting is signed in black to its lower left and is mounted in a wide wooden frame with a woven liner and a ring for hanging to its verso.
Condition
- some accretions and discoloration to painting; gouges into the wood on left side of frame; wear to frame verso.
