A Victorian style balloon back chair. The chair is constructed of hardwood with a rich cherry stain. The piece features an arched balloon backrest with carved, scrolling accents. The padded seat is covered in a striped fabric that is cream and burgundy in color. The chair rests atop turned Sheraton style legs to the front and straight legs to the rear. The piece is unmarked to indicate a maker.
