A vintage handmade wooden shaving horse. The piece features a shaped bench resting on four round peg legs and includes a clamp operated with a treadle bar to one side. It’s common use would be to put a round profile on a square piece of green wood, prior to it being finished in a lathe.

- wear to the wood and oxidation to the metal noted.
