An assortment of antique President Garfield and First Lady Lucretia Garfield memorabilia, dated from just before and after his assassination. Included is a book titled The Life and Public Services of General James A. Garfield by William Ralston Balch published by J.C. McCurdy & Co. in 1881, just after the President died after lingering two months from being shot. Also included is a color lithograph of president Garfield with his family, and a pair of carte-de-visite companion photographic prints of President Garfield and his wife Lucretia.
